 Frequently Asked Questions

Accepting New Clients in June 2025

  • I provide therapy to adults (18+)  who live and reside in Connecticut.

    LGBTQIA+ Identity & Relationships
I provide therapy to adults within the LGBTQIA+ community, offering support as they navigate identity, relationships, and personal growth. Whether you're exploring gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation, working through internalized homophobia or transphobia, navigating the coming-out process, or processing the impact of microaggressions, therapy provides a space for self-discovery and healing. I also support clients in exploring kink, ethical non-monogamy, and dating challenges, helping them build authentic and fulfilling relationships.

    Anxiety in High Achievers
High achievers often appear successful on the outside while struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt beneath the surface. I help clients break free from the cycle of overworking, imposter syndrome, and fear of failure, so they can find confidence and balance in their personal and professional lives. Therapy provides tools to quiet the inner critic, manage stress, and cultivate self-worth beyond accomplishments.

    Quarter-Life Crisis
The transition into adulthood can feel overwhelming, filled with uncertainty about career, relationships, and identity. I help young adults navigate the pressure of "figuring it all out" while managing self-doubt, comparison, and decision paralysis. Therapy can provide clarity, helping you redefine success, set meaningful goals, and create a life that aligns with your values.

    Brainspotting & Trauma
Unresolved trauma can manifest in anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Brainspotting is a powerful, body-based therapy that helps process and release deep emotional pain stored in the brain and body. Whether you’re coping with complex PTSD, childhood trauma, relational wounds, or a distressing life event, therapy offers a path toward healing, resilience, and empowerment.

I serve people of all genders, races, classes, abilities, sexualities, and cultures.

  • All of my sessions are currently taking place via a HIPAA compliant video platform. I do not offer in-person therapy at this time.

  • I am not in-network with any insurance providers.

  • $150 for a singular 50 minute session with an individual

    $200 for a singular 50 minute session with a couple/polycule

  • Consistency is important for the healing process. Therefore, I have regular weekly appointments with my clients. Your session time is reserved for you, and that time slot is not given to anyone else until our work together is completed.

  • Yes, everything stated within therapy is confidential. There are exceptions which will be detailed for you within your intake paperwork on the first session, generalized below:

    • If I suspect that an individual may be involved in child, dependent adult, or elder abuse or neglect, or if a client is a danger or threat to themselves or others.

  • At Sparks Between Us, we value your time and commitment to your therapeutic journey. To ensure that we can continue to serve all our clients effectively, we have implemented the following limited cancellation policy:

    1. Payment for Session Booking: All sessions must be paid for at the time of booking. This payment secures your scheduled time and ensures that we are able to offer consistent, reliable service.

    2. Cancellation and Rescheduling: We understand that life happens, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your session. Clients are allowed two cancellations per calendar year without penalty. These cancellations can be used for rescheduling within a reasonable time frame, provided that the cancellation notice is given at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.

    3. Applying Cancellations to Future Sessions: If you need to cancel a session and wish to use one of your two "free" cancellations, the amount paid for the missed session will be applied to your next scheduled session. The missed session will not be charged, and no refund will be issued. Subsequent cancellations within the calendar year will result in the forfeit of your session payment.

No Refund Policy: Please note that no refunds will be issued for any session payments or cancellations. All payments made are non-refundable but can be applied to future sessions as per the terms of this policy.

  • All forms are available in the client’s private portal through the Electronic Health Record system, called SessionsHealth. Clients will receive an email with a link to access the forms, which must be completed within 48 hours. Once the required forms are submitted and your rate has been paid, your appointment will be confirmed. Using their personal login, clients can access all necessary forms, HIPAA waivers, and statements.

I encourage you to find a safe, private, and comfortable space for our session with bright lighting. Quiet non-disruptive pets are welcome to join the session, but please ensure that there are no other people within the room of the session to ensure confidentiality.
